We are still collecting food and toiletries which are donated to local foodbanks which support vulnerable people in our neighbourhood. Demand had been steadily rising since the end of the first lockdown but is now accelerating with the start of the second lockdown and winter.
All collection points will be open Thursday evening's 6pm to 8pm around the Selly Park area on:
Cecil Road
Holly Place
Hobson Road
Pershore Road
First Avenue
Third Avenue
Wallace Road
Find the one nearest to you by looking for the sign in the window or on the box outside.
What to do: Leave your donations in the boxes outside the collection points. These will be taken to the food bank and made up into food parcels for people who are in need!
What’s needed: Tins, jars, dried and other non-perishable food, nappies, baby milk and toiletries
